City Elections

The City of El Cenizo conducts local elections in accordance with the Texas Election Code.

• General Election Date: The City’s General Election is held on the Non-Presidential General Election Day in November, unless otherwise ordered.

• Offices on the Ballot: City Mayor and 2 City Commissioners-at-large.

• Special Elections: From time to time, the City may call special elections for propositions, or to fill vacancies.
